Nathan and Kimberly Mudd at the Historic Bromley Farms where Nathan managed the farm.

Nathan Mudd has spent over two decades building a stronger, more connected Arvada—one project, one business, and one relationship at a time.

A longtime resident of Olde Town, Nathan helped launch the Arvada’s Farmers Market in 2009, transforming a simple idea into a thriving hub for local food, small business, and sustainable agriculture. That same spirit of community leadership can be seen in the many events he’s helped create—celebrations that continue to bring neighbors together and strengthen the fabric of our city.

Nathan’s commitment to local businesses runs deep. He’s served as Vice Chair of the Arvada Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, helped found the Westminster Chamber, and has served on boards across three different chambers in the region. In every role, his focus has remained the same: support small businesses, amplify community voices, and build a resilient, sustainable local economy.

As both a tech entrepreneur and a former farmer, Nathan brings a rare combination of innovation and hands-on experience. He’s raised vegetables, bees, fruit trees, and livestock, and built companies rooted in environmental stewardship and food system reform. For Nathan, sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s how he lives and leads.

Nathan is also a practicing attorney who has quietly helped individuals and small businesses navigate complex challenges with care, clarity, and commitment. Whether advocating in a courtroom or building connections across neighborhoods, Nathan brings people together to solve problems and create opportunity.

Now, he’s ready to bring that same energy, experience, and vision to Arvada City Council—to serve the city that’s given him so much, and to help shape a future where everyone can thrive.
